Dream Job

The Criminal Mind

How i'd love to be able to do that... but i doubt i'll get there. I've always been really interested in the criminal mind. It facinates me so much!!

Either that or just looking at Abnormal Psychology, with the serious disorders. That would be facinating also.

Oh well, enough dreaming... back to study...

What a weekend!

Well, this weekend has already been huge!

Friday night 8 of us went into Sydney for the Messiah at St. Andrews. It was really nice, quite relaxing to listen to. However, the seats weren't the best and my back didn't really agree with them too much. We got back to Cooranbong at 1am and the next day i really didn't want to get up. But i was in a much better state than Clinton was.
Saturday was a nice day, even though we didn't get to go to the lake because it was raining. Was a really nice day, but i was rather tired. Tonight we're going camping, not "organised" camping tho mind you... but it shall be great fun! I'll take my camera, and post some piccys sometime soon.

Sunday "fun"...

Well, those of you at College have probably heard about our "fun" on Sunday already, but here's my version!

I went out to a friends farm Sunday for his mothers 50th with a bunch of friends. We were getting a tour of the property in the 4WD and were having some fun doing donuts on the grass. Unfourtunately, it was really dry and we were getting thrown around a bit too much and the car rolled. We were all wearning seatbelts apart from my boyfriend. Luckily, it was his side that we fell onto and he wasn't hurt at all. None of us were. We seemed to tip very slowly and landed extremely softly.

Michelle and Madelyne were on the side that was in the air, which was most fortunate because they are very small and were just hanging in the air due to the seatbelts and if it had been any of us there, it would have been much more uncomfortable and harder on us. We were all fine, no cuts, no broken windows even! Everyone came running over so quickly and we were all able to get out quickly and check that we were all fine. The car was a lot worse for wear. Oil was leaking everywhere, the windscreen was all cracked and had buckled where we had hit the ground on the right hand side.

Now i'm starting to get a nice long bruise on my tummy where the seatbelt was, but apart from that i'm not too sore anymore. Poor Braden felt terrible about it, but now he's enjoying telling everyone about it, so if you want a considerably longer version, go and ask him about it ;o)

Topics

Ok, got a "Position Paper" to write for Abnormal Psychology, these are the topics I can choose from:

Is MPD a valid diagnosis?
Does ADD exist?
Are repressed memories valid?
Should psychologists prescribe medication?
Does evolution explain why men rape?
Is sexual orientation conversion therapy ethical?

What do you think of those topics?
