Sabbaths

Aren't sabbath a true blessing? The past two sabbaths i've been luck enough to spend with some good friends.

To me, the perfect sabbath day consists of going to a good sabbath school where everyone participates and church that is not a "show". Following that is a bit of mingling after church and then heading off for a picnic or lunch with friends. Preferably a picnic, because it's so nice to be able to sit outside enjoying the breeze and all of God's creations. Hmm, it is nice at the beach. Being able to walk along the beach with friends is really nice.

I'm finding that i'm truly blessed with the wonderful friends that i have. They are such loving, wonderful people who i wouldn't trade for anything! Plus, being down here i'm surrounded by wonderful people who share the same beliefs as me, which is very encouraging and enables one to grow and discover so much more.

Isn't it funny how things turn out in your life? Just when you least expect it, something really great happens. We are so truly blessed!

Very true. But for me, i find it much more beneficial this way at the moment. I've grew up in the other situation, and i can say i wasn't really strong enough to be able to stand up for what i believe in at that point in time.
